Hello, my name is Jennifer Kersch and I am the School Social Worker at Franklinville Elementary for grades Pre-K through 5. I started working here in September of 2022. I really enjoyed my first year and can’t wait for many more. I have learned most everyone’s names and I enjoy seeing everyone’s smiling faces each day.

I grew up in Marilla and attended Iroquois Central School District and currently live in Arcade with my husband, two boys, one cat and 2 chickens. After high school, I attended SUNY Brockport and received my Bachelors of Science majoring in Social Work. I then continued on and received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Buffalo. I worked in a variety of settings during my career, from outpatient mental health clinic for adults, to a community setting working with young children in a therapeutic preschool. My passion is working with children, they are so resilient and I love to see them grow socially and emotionally. Growing up is not an easy task and I am here for students and their families, during each bump in the road.
