Hello Franklinville Elementary Students & Families :)

My name is Mrs. Jennifer Layton and I am the School Counselor at Franklinville Elementary, grades PreK-5.  I am so happy to have the opportunity to work with you! 

I started working at Franklinville School District in February 2019.  I grew up and attended school in Hinsdale and currently live in the Olean area with my husband, our two children, our beagle and several chickens :) After High School I attended Jamestown Community College and received an Associates in Social Science.  I later went on to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree from Empire State College, majoring in Human Development/Psychology.  I recieved a Masters Degree in Education for School Counseling as well as an Advanced Certification in School Counseling from St. Bonaventure University.  

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time camping and kayaking with my family. I also enjoy watching movies and reading fiction novels.  I love being a School Counselor and I am PROUD to be a Franklinville PANTHER!
