Students requiring this service must ask their classroom teachers for permission to visit the Health Office, where a Registered Nurse will assess the students' needs. Any student who believes he/she needs to leave school due to an illness must go to the Health Office first.The school nurse / nursing personnel has direct, day to day, responsibility for the physical health of the students in the Franklinville Central School District. The school nurse / nursing personnel will deal with a variety of health-related issues on a regular basis at school who are ill or injured while under school supervision
If your child complains of feeling ill at home, before school, please keep them at home. School nurses / nursing personnel are not qualified to diagnosis or practice medicine, but are able to give first aid and placing the student under the care of the parent or legal guardian.
