• Thank you for your interest in the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program through the Franklinville Central School District.  The New York State Education Department funds the UPK program. 

      Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open and will close on Friday, 5/19! Please click on the link below to start the registration process.

      After completing the registration packet, you should contact Tara Bowers to review the information.  Please drop off completed packets at the elementary. This should be done only after you have completed the paperwork and have obtained all associated documentation.

      About Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK)

      • The UPK program is limited to children who will be four years old on or before December 1st, 2023

      • You must be a legal resident of the Franklinville Central School District.

      • The program is a full-day program and will run five (5) days a week.  

      • The program will follow the school district calendar, with an anticipated 180 days of student attendance.  

      • Transportation to and from the program will be provided for students outside the district's village.

      • Two (2) UPK classes will be held at Franklinville Elementary.

      • There is limited availability for the program based on grant funding.
