Grading for U.S. History and Government 11
Exams (50%) are averaged together to come up with a number grade. The same is done for all quizzes, homeworks and projects(50%). I then take the two grades and average them together to get the score for the quarter.
Homework is given on average two or three times a week. I do accept late homework for lesser credit as long as it is turned in within a week of the original due date.
Students are responsible to make up missed homework, quizzes, and exams if they miss class. They should either ask a responsible classmate or me about what they missed. The best time to do this is either right before or after school.
