United States History and Government 11 is a regents class with an exam in June that all students must pass to graduate high school. This exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions, some questions based on documents, and two essays: a thematic and DBQ essay.
The main goals of this class is to make students more informed citizens and better critical thinkers that can make good decisions that impact their lives. Becoming knowledgeable about issues that our nation has confronted in the past is a good way to prepare our young men and women for the future.
