Dr. Blundon’s family moved to Franklinville in 1998 and is a TBA alum from the graduating class of 2006. After high school, he attended the State University of New York at Fredonia, where he acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Genetics and a minor in Public Health (2010), as well as a Master’s degree in Biology (2012). He further pursued his education in Cell and Developmental Biology, receiving his Doctorate degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017. Dr. Blundon has also held two post-doctoral research appointments at prestigious institutions, such as the Waggoner Center for Alcohol & Addiction Research, in Austin, Texas, as well as Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.
Along with his 10 years of published research, he developed over 8 years of teaching experience at the collegiate level—instructing all levels of students, from freshman to seniors, and graduate students. Today, Dr. Blundon is a small business owner in the village of Franklinville as a Research & Development strategist and consultant. Dr. Blundon and his wife, Jordyn Blundon, have recently re-established their roots back in Franklinville to start their family after achieving their educational goals. Dr. Blundon is eager to bring fresh ideas to Franklinville’s school with his community-first, active-parent approach, drawing from his experiences in upper-level education as an acting guide.
