Welcome to Digital Citizens at Franklinville Central School. The content created in this section is by students at Franklinville Central School. Twenty-first century students are digital citizens and content creators. The work that is showcased on this site is that of students in our 7th Grade Technology Classes. Franklinville Central School offers a twenty week course that teaches students about digital citizenship and it encourages them to be active yet reflective in their content creation.

This year's classes have completed a book study of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens. The content of the book is emphasized and its relationship to life in today's digital world. While we studied the book students learned to use technology tools to report out on and reflect on what they were learning. We explored a variety of topics including internet safety, copyright laws, cyber-bullying, using cell phones in educational settings, programming, design, animation and digital publishing. We have completed the publication of a student e-book as promised and there is a link for it on this page at the left. The title of the book is "Ten Broeck Authors."
